Had the opportunity to work with Rhino 3D modelling software and to have an object printed in Nylon.

I made an articulated ring. The large eliptical form is attached to the ring by a ball and socket joint so it can tilt and rotate. The plan is to electroform one and gild another, to explore how the material reacts and the weight and feel of the objects. Its early days with the software but having spent time exploring Ashlar Vellums Xenon, inventor and autocad I like the way Rhino works... and its great to see something printed.
